Rick Montgomery, DDS, MD
Dr. Montgomery is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and maintains a private clinical practice of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Kerrville Texas. He received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Texas State University in 1971 and his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1974. Dr. Montgomery then entered advance training in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Health Science Center at San Antonio and earned his M.D. degree in 1977. He also completed an internship in Anesthesiology in 1977 and completed an internship in General Surgery in 1978. Dr. Montgomery transferred to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in 1979, where he completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, from the Department of Otolaryngology-Maxillofacial Surgery in 1982. Dr. Montgomery is a Fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
