Travis Kern

Class of 2010

Dr. Travis W. Kern was born and raised in Austin, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University, and attained a bachelor of science, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May of 2000. He received his D.D.S. from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental School in May 2004, also graduating Magna Cum Laude. He graduated from The University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in 2007. The following year Dr. Kern completed a one year internship in Anesthesiology and General Surgery. He currently is a junior chief resident on the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery service and will complete residency in June 2010. He looks forward to the opportunities and challenges provided by the field and would like to thank his family, friends, and mentors for their support and guidance.
