Ryan Q. Green
Class of 2010
Dr. Ryan Green is a native of Bryan, Texas, where he attended and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University. During his undergraduate years, he was elected into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor society and graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class. Dr. Green received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004. During Dental school, he was honored with Exemplary Achievement Award for his National Board Dental exam scores, General Dentistry Appreciation award, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons Dental Implant award. Dr. Green also graduated with research honors. During his dental training he served as a national officer for the National Student Research group. Dr. Green was a 2001 American Association of Dental Research Hatton Award finalist, 2001 NIH travel fund winner and received American Association of Dental Research Fellowships in 2001 and 2002. In 2007 he earned his Medical Degree. He then went on to receive his General Surgery internship certificate and is currently looking forward to finishing his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 2010. During his training he has also has been involved in his church and with medical mission trips to Zambia, Africa and to Mexico.
Dr. Green was motivated to go into the Oral and Maxillofacial because he enjoys the challenge of surgery and the ability to use his knowledge to help change people’s lives. His interest outside work include traveling with his wife Jennifer, hiking, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
