Mazen Duraini

Class of 2013

Dr. Mazen Duraini was born in Stockholm, Sweden, lived in Amman, Jordan and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as well. He moved to Dallas, TX in 1998 for his college education. He attended The University of Texas at Dallas graduating with honors in December 2002 with a BS in Biology. Four years later he graduated Dental School and received his D.D.S in May 2007 from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Duraini is currently a resident in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, attending the UTHSCSA Medical School as part of his OMS training. He is pursuing a career in OMS to follow his passion for surgery, hoping to build a strong foundation in all aspects of the specialty. Outside of OMS his interests include weight lifting, running, football, and spending time with his loved ones.
